The Way of the Rain

Hope for Earth presented by Earthx2020 and EarthxFilm tells the story of the formation of the Universe, the evolution of all galaxies, and the birth of our unique and beautiful Planet Earth with all its elements. This version of The Way of the Rain is a creation for symphony, choir, film, art and spoken word, and will feature a youth choir comprised of students from several high schools in the Dallas area.

 A multidisciplinary environmental performance created and directed by Sibylle Szaggars Redford, in collaboration with Music Composer Tim Janis, Performance Film Artist Floyd Thomas McBee, with a special narration – spoken word by Robert Redford, the performance interprets nature’s powerful beauty while calling attention to the Earth’s vulnerability brought on by climate change.
